Living in the now

Purab Kohli and three friends have put their lives on hold to go on a journey of self discovery
Living in the now
What happens when four friends decide to put their mundane lives on hold and travel around the country and beyond, doing all the things they’ve dreamed of doing? It makes for the trip of a lifetime.
Life Mein Ek Baar, presented by Fox Traveller, is a show that follows VJ and actor Purab Kohli and three of his friends, who let go of their daily lives to chase a wish list and make a journey full of adventure, thrilling escapades and some heart-warming moments.
The show starts tonight, and will air every Sunday at 10 pm.
About his experience, Purab says, “This journey was a crazy, wild adventure for us. It’s a story of self-discovery, exploration and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones. It has been an exhilarating experience.” Earlier this year, Purab went on an extensive hunt on Fox Traveller’s Facebook page to find the perfect companions to accompany him. He zeroed in on an interesting mix — Arun, a hot software engineer who teaches Capoeira; Bhaskar, a chilled-out film student; and Jupiter, a highly opinionated, witty and funny marketing professional. The result? A diverse but very vibrant group.
Speaking on the launch of the show, Debarpita Banerjee, VP, marketing, FOX International Channels, said, “Life Mein Ek Baar will touch a chord with almost everyone. It has an element of living in the ‘now’. You will watch Purab, Jupiter, Bhaskar and Arun challenge and discover themselves, grow as individuals and bond as a group, while they make this journey wacky, wicked, heart-warming and memorable. And that is what Fox Traveller is all about, not just showcasing destinations, but also about telling beautiful stories that make a journey personal and fun.”
